Before joining Life@Home, Lankford received his bachelor's degree in sports medicine/exercise science from David Lipscomb University. While attending David Lipscomb he received a certificate of exercise for the elderly. Lankford has worked for the Green Hills branch of the YMCA for the past eight years.
