For Immediate ReleaseLife@Home, Inc. Gets Involved to Help Area Non-Profit Agencies |
October 21, 1999
Nashville, Tennessee - Life@Home, Inc., a provider of safety, security and
convenience solutions for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities, announced
today their plan to get the community involved by contributing a portion of all proceeds
from catalog sales to several local non-profit organizations.
During the months of November and December, Life@Home will donate 10% of each catalog
sale to area non-profit organizations. Each time a catalog sale is placed, the customer
will have the option to donate to the charity of his or her choice. Local non-profit
organizations will include: The Nashville Multiple Sclerosis Society, Easter Seals of
Nashville, Alzheimer's Association of Nashville, Senior Citizens Inc., Arthritis
Foundation, Parkinson's Association, American Cancer Society and Muscular Dystrophy
Association.
"Life@Home benefits so many different people in the community - from senior
citizens, to the disabled, to caregivers - we are excited to be able to provide this
opportunity," said Mark Fry, president of Life@Home. "Instead of picking just
one organization, we want to let our customers decide where their money goes."
Life@Home will present the check to each organization during the month of January 2000.
Life@Home provides products and services to benefit senior citizens, individuals with
disabilities and caregivers. Services include free in-home needs assessment, installation
of bathroom safety items, door security products, fire safety items, arthritis aids, low
vision items, proper lighting solutions, mobility devices, handicap aids and many more
residential safety and convenience items. During the year 2000, Life@Home, Inc. hopes to
franchise into new markets, starting with the southeastern United States. If you would
