Life@Home Recognized as Fast-Growing Middle Tennessee Company

August 16, 2001

Nashville, Tennessee

Life@Home, Inc. has been honored as part of the Music City Future 50, an annual recognition program of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the 50 fastest growing, privately owned companies in the area.

The Music City Future 50 are identified through a nomination form, which includes a company's past and projected sales and employment growth. To be eligible, companies must be privately owned, headquartered in Middle Tennessee, have 10 or more employees and/or annual revenue of at least $500,000, and anticipate revenue and employment growth of 10 percent or more per year for the next three years. The nominations are collected by the Small Business Council of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and tabulated by Pricewaterhouse Coopers, LLP.

This marks the tenth year for the competition. Nearly 150 companies vied for the distinction of being named one of the 2001 Music City Future 50.

"For a decade, the Nashville Area Chamber's Music City Future 50 Awards have been given to our area's fastest-growing, privately held companies. These companies exemplify excellence and their achievements help drive economic growth in Middle Tennessee," said Vic Alexander, Kraft CPAs, who serves as Vice Chair of Small Business for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.

Life@Home will receive recognition as a Future 50 company in a special section published by THE TENNESSEAN and at a reception and awards dinner on Tuesday, September 25, in the Opryland Hotel's Delta Ballroom.

"We are very pleased to be a first time Future 50 winner," said Ella Chadwell, Life@Home partner. "Small business is the lifeline of the American economy, the American Dream - just to be a part is an honor but to be successful is priceless."

The 2001 Music City Future 50 Awards are sponsored by Pinnacle Financial Partners, THE TENNESSEAN and the Nashville Chamber's Small Business Council.

The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce is Middle Tennessee's largest business federation, representing more than 4,200 member companies. The organization is dedicated to developing the region as a desirable place to live, work and visit.
