Living Environment For Seniors and Disabled
February 17, 1999
Nashville, Tennessee - Life@Home, Inc. is a one-stop provider of home
modification products and services for senior citizens and individuals with disabilities
in the middle Tennessee area.
The focus of Life@Home is to aid seniors and the disabled in gaining back and/or
retaining their independence in living. The need for this company was created to serve a
market which was previously being ignored.
In depth research has provided this company with the knowledge and cost effective
methods to provide safety and peace of mind for each individuals situation.
Life@Home also offers a satisfaction guarantee on products to ensure peace-of-mind. Since
every home is unique, Life@Home will conduct a needs analysis with each person to help
uncover potential problem areas in and around their home.
Life@Home is equally owned by three partners - Mark Fry, Ronnie Ferguson, and Richie
Simmons. Mr. Fry, a MBA graduate from the Massey School at Belmont University, serves as
president of the firm. After building a thriving construction company, MKF Construction,
he consistently witnessed the need for this type of company. Ronnie Ferguson, a successful
business man out of Franklin, Kentucky, knows first hand the needs of senior citizens.
Nearing senior citizen status, Mr. Ferguson is acutely aware of the desire of seniors to
remain independent in their own homes. The third partner, Richie Simmons, brings to the
firm a wealth of knowledge in the remodeling and renovation business. Through his
experience, he is convinced of the significant opportunity not only for seniors, but the
disabled community at large to remain in their homes with customized, accessibility
modifications.
"We know people are healthiest and happiest in their own homes," said Mr.
Fry, president of Life@Home. "Life@Home is dedicated to creating a healthier living
environment for those who are not only physically challenged, but may also be facing

This may not cover medical expenses which are climbing higher and higher each day.
"We treat patients with life altering circumstances everyday," said Julie Dale,
a registered nurse. "Life@Home provides an alternative to assisted living or nursing
home care. There are more seniors and individuals with disabilities today than ever due to
medical advancements. This company provides real value for our community."
"Over the years it has been my experience that patients have had a difficult time
trying to locate a company who not only has the materials, but is also willing to install
them," said Dorothy Lesch, OTR/L, an occupational therapist, "With a company
like Life@Home, physical and occupational therapists can work hand in hand to ensure
safety items are properly installed for their patients well being."
