Alerts caregiver up to 50 feet away. When patient steps on mat, a battery-operated transmitter activates a remote receiver, sounding alarm. A three-foot cord attaches transmitter to be 3" X 5" rubberized mat. Perfect for home or institution, fits by any door or bedside. The alarm may be turned off immediately at the remote receiver, before deactivating the transmitter. Alarm has volume adjustment from 75 to 100dB. Caregiver can turn off the transmitter at any time in order to step on the mat without activating the alarm. Place the receiver outside patient's bedroom door, in caregiver's room, or at nurse's station. Both transmitter and receiver have hook and loop attachment for optional wall mounting. Each has LED on/off indicator. Receiver is 110 AC-operated. Transmitter requires 9V battery (not included).
